Coral Spawning Trip, Great Barrier Reef, November 2014

Coral spawning

Join Pawel Achtel on an exclusive private charter to film coral spawning, 9 - 14 November 2014

Departing Townsville, returning to Townsville. Special trip for avid night divers, this is when the corals of the Great Barrier Reef will spawn. To see coral spawning during a night dive is a must for all divers and we are planning two night dives every night. Since the devastation to the corals caused by cyclone YASI coral recovery has been better than from any recent (20years) previous destructive event (bleaching, COTS etc), the reef corals in our region are flourishing and will be keen to add to their own numbers come the full moon in November. The majesty of this event can only be appreciated in person. 4 days diving, four dives a day, for just $1,650 per person.

  • Exclusive private charter focused on filming for an upcoming IMAX film, Sea of Love, 3D.
  • Small number of guests to maximise diving opportunities, no crowds.
  • Affordable price
